The Wisdom of Crowds

I'd like to start a new section on this blog, The Wisdom of Crowds, for one of my favorite internet occurrences: stupid, irrational customer reviews that only serve to invalidate totally the opinions of the reviewer in question. These are most commonly found in Amazon product reviews and Yelp restaurant reviews, but today I enjoyed this comment from the site GreatSchools.org which I found while researching my daughter's potential future elementary school:

"When I think of all of the effort I put into getting my child into Edison, I only have bitter laughter . . . The parents of the kindergartners hang out at the kindergarten entrance like gangmembers [sic], blocking the entrance to the kindergartners."

So as far as I can tell, her bitter laughter is engendered by the fact that the entrance way to her child's kindergarten class is slightly too narrow.
